If you’re someone that just joined the Fiverr affiliate program but is stuck on how to get started with it and confused about how to promote your links, then this is the post you might want to read.
In this post, I am going to show you how to use the Fiverr affiliate links and other promotional tools provided by Fiverr including tips on how and where to promote your Fiverr affiliate links.

Fiverr Affiliate Program: An Overview
Unlike most products and services that let other third-party affiliate networks manage their affiliate programs, Fiverr has an in-house affiliate program.
And to be honest, they have managed it well by providing amazing tools that their affiliates can use to make the most of their affiliate promotions.
I have been a part of other companies that have personalized affiliate dashboards and promotional materials unique to their own for their affiliate programs.
But only a few of them have the kind of facility that gives their affiliate a wide range of unique promotional materials and the freedom to tweak those materials according to their campaign needs.
The Fiverr affiliate program is one of those!
And talking about the promotional tools, they have different types of promotional tools in general that an affiliate can use for their campaign and promotion. You can skip directly to the how to promote section here.
Let’s look at their types and how to use them.
How to use the Fiverr affiliate links and promotional tools? And their types
To make it organized and understandable I will divide them into two types according to their formats and further subdivide them.
Visual tools
The first type of tools that you can use in your promotion as a Fiverr affiliate is the promotional tools that you can embed in your website pages and blog articles including your website’s widget area.
I call them the visual ones because they are directly visible to your audience as images, videos and the search bar itself.
Banners and videos
The first promotional tools that you can use on your website are banners and videos. They come in various sizes and types.
To grab them, go to the all marketing tools tab under the marketing tools option on the left side of your Fiverr affiliate dashboard.
In there you can filter the banner type by various options like the brand type, filter type, language, creative and also filtering size.
The most useful ones that I use are the:
Filter by brand
Click the button and the dropdown will show you the brands available. You just have to choose the one that you want to use according to the content in your blog post.
For example, I have selected the Fiverr sub-affiliate.
Filter by type
Then head over to the filter by type and the dropdown will show you the options available. In this case, the options available are video and JPEG.
- I will select the JPEG option.
- And you can filter it further if you want the banner in a different language and a different size.
- Then click the show creative button. And the result I get here is shown in the image given below.
Now all you have to do is click the Get Html code button, then copy the Html code and embed it in your website or your blog post.

I have mentioned the other two promotional materials in short in one of my previous posts where I talked about navigating the Fiverr affiliate dashboard.
However, let’s do it again with some simple explanations of how to use it in the most effective way.
Gig Ads Widget for promotion
The gig ads widget is a widget that you can embed in your website showcasing directly the Fiverr gig you want to show to your website visitor.
- Just click the Gig ads widget in the left menu tab of your Fiverr affiliate dashboard in the dropdown under the marketing tools section.
- From the main window that appears in the dashboard, you can filter the category, then enter the relevant keyword and the price range that you want the gig in and click the apply filter button.
- And after the gig window appears click the green coloured “Embed code” button on the top right-hand side of your dashboard, then copy the Html code and paste it into your blog post or your website’s widget area where you want the gig bar to appear.
The best place to show this widget on your website would be in your blog post and the gig should be according to the topic you are sharing in your blog.
For example, if it’s about WordPress, filter the gig in the widget for WordPress website designers or developers.
The other option will be to embed the widget in the sidebar of your website, it would be better if you mostly promote the services from Fiverr on your website.

Search Box Widget for promotion.
The search box widget is somewhat similar to the gig ads widget but it doesn’t directly show the gigs, instead, it appears as a search bar and allows your visitor to directly search for freelance services they are looking for.
- To use the widget, go to the search box widget in the left menu again and click it.
- From the main window, you can choose your commission type whether it would be CPA or Hybrid. I have explained the commission type in my review about the Fiverr affiliate program before.
- You can also choose the language you want to display in the search bar. It has got an option of seven languages to choose from.
Now type the keyword related to your blog or campaign in the “Edit the search box text” section, or you can type it right inside the search box widget itself.
As an example, I have used the word Try “Landing Page“.
After that it’s the same, simply click the “Embed code” button, get the Html code and embed it in your website.

Now let’s head forward to the links, their various types and how to use them effectively while also tracking them.
Link tools – Fiverr affiliate link (how to use them)
When it comes to the types of links Fiverr offers inside their dashboard, you will find two types of links that you can use. Which are the default link and the other on the deep link.
First, let’s talk about the default link.
Fiverr affiliate default links
The Fiverr affiliate provides 6(six) types of default links that you can use in your promotion and marketing.
- Fiverr CPA.
- Fiverr Hybrid.
- AndCo.
- Fiverr Learn.
- Fiverr Business and;
- Fiverr Sub Affiliates.
These links take your visitor directly to the main service pages of Fiverr according to the service mentioned. Except for Fiverr CPA and Fiverr hybrid.
Both these links Fiverr CPA and Fiverr hybrid take your referral to the main marketplace of Fiverr, only the type of commission differs here in case the referred visitor of your website converts to a customer.

Fiverr affiliate deep links and tracking
Deep linking is one of the most important aspects of affiliate marketing, as it leads your visitors to the specific page you want them to land in.
And Fiverr affiliate offers one of the easiest ways to create your deep link.
The other important option that you can use while promoting your Fiverr affiliate link is by using the “track the link” option for specific campaigns.
How to create deep links and track them on Fiverr?
Once again you will have to head over to the marketing tools section and select the default and deep links from the dropdown.
- Now click the LP URL dropdown button on the top right side of the main window of the dashboard.
- Copy the link of the page you want your visitors to land on and paste it into the LP URL dropdown box.
- After that, you can add the tracking IDs in the “Dynamic parameters section” situated just beside the LP URL button.
- From the dropdown menu of the “Dynamic Parameters section”, you can create different AFP (affiliate parameter) to understand the clicks you generate from your different links.
- Below the AFP you will find the Tracking code option. You can use this option to know the source of the traffic of your link clicks.
Most of the time this helps in different campaigns. In my case, I will enter the identification for this blog post.
After adding all the parameters, your link will be ready. It will be longer than the default links.
But you can easily shorten it by selecting the Shorten URL option situated on the left-hand side of the main window of the Fiverr affiliate dashboard.

This is how you can easily create deep links and add tracking codes for your links in your Fiverr affiliate dashboard.
Now that you know how to use the various marketing tools you can find in the Fiverr affiliate dashboard, let’s have a look at how to promote our affiliate links or the services Fiverr offer.
How to promote Fiverr affiliate links?
There are many ways to promote Fiverr affiliate links and its services. Let’s discuss some of the most effective methods so that you can start promoting Fiverr effectively as an affiliate marketer.
1. Start Pay per click (PPC) ads.
When it comes to paid ads, PPC is a great way to go. You can create targeted ads that will appear when someone searches for specific keywords related to your product or service.
You’ll only pay when someone clicks on your ad, so it’s a great way to test out different keywords related to the service you are promoting. and see which ones are most effective.
For example. If you’re in the web development niche and want to promote WordPress services, you can target keywords like WordPress website development or something like that.
When it comes to PPC ads, you can use advertisement services like Google Ads or Bing Ads. You’ll need a landing page to direct your target audience to your offers for this.
For creating your landing pages you can use tools like Systeme.io which is free.
2. Start Social media advertising.
Social media advertising is a great way to reach people who are interested in the kind of service you are trying to promote from Fiverr and can be a great source of traffic for promoting CPA affiliate products.
You can run ads on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This is a great way to target potential customers and increase traffic to your affiliate offer.
You can target your potential customers as well as potential first-time buyers by their interests, demographics, and even their location.
3. Try Native advertising.
Another great paid way to start promoting Fiverr services is through Native advertising. It is a great way to reach potential customers who are already interested in hiring freelancers and freelancing services.
You can purchase ads that blend in with the content of the website or blog they are displayed on. You can also create targeted ads that will only be seen by people who are in your target market.
All you have to do is create a landing page or maybe do a Fiverr review on your webpage that will contain your referral links which can direct your visitors to the original Fiverr marketplace.
4. Using Search engine optimization (SEO) tactics.
The fourth option would be to generate organic traffic for your website that contains your affiliate offer.
This can be done through writing SEO-optimized blog posts and then you can optimize your website and its content to rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs).

5. Start Email marketing.
Another option to promote Fiverr would be through Email marketing. It can also be a great way to reach your potential customers who may be interested in what you have to offer from Fiverr.
You can add an email opt-in form on your website or blog with a lead magnet to capture emails from your visitors in exchange for something valuable.

Social media marketing can be another great option to promote Fiverr services. It would be a bit more complicated than paid ads but it’s worth trying.
By creating high-quality content and posting it on social media regularly, you can gain trust and attract more followers that are interested in your content.
And then you can gradually start promoting freelancing services from Fiverr. Just don’t forget to add your referral link in your bio.
7. Join Online Forums.
You can also participate in targeted forums and answer questions that people have about different problems they might be facing with their business.
While helping them out you can strategically, recommend them services from Fiverr they might need for their business.
For example. You can promote social media growth gigs to someone who’s having trouble with growing their social media profile.
8. Join Facebook groups.
Just like forums, targeted Facebook groups can also be a great source of free traffic for your affiliate offer.
You can participate in groups related to your niche and share valuable content with the group members.
You can also answer their questions and recommend relevant services from Fiverr that they might need for their business.
This is a great way to get free traffic and promote your affiliate offer at the same time.
9. Create Google websites.
If you are short on money or don’t want to take the risk of spending money on ads, then you can use Google’s free website platform to create a website for your affiliate offer.
You can create a simple website with a few pages and include your affiliate link on your website.
You can also write articles or blog posts about the Fiverr services you are promoting and include your affiliate link in the article.
10. Start a YouTube channel.
YouTube can also be a great source of free traffic for your affiliate offer. Especially it has become a lot easier to create YouTube videos nowadays.
If you’re not comfortable with the camera, you can always start a faceless YouTube channel around a topic like digital marketing or online business.
You can then go on to start talking about the services you liked from Fiverr or give tutorials about Fiverr gigs and all and promote your affiliate links by adding them in the YouTube description and the comment section.
11. Create a tutorial or course
A course can be another great option. You can create tutorials and courses that teach people about using Fiverr. Things like Fiverr gigs and all.
You can then go on to share your course on your website or even promote it through paid ads for a decent cost. This way you can benefit in double.
This can be a great way to promote Fiverr as well as to make money online through your course.
12. Add Fiverr affiliates’ banner ads on your site
This one is easy. You can just promote Fiverr services by adding banner ads on your website. It can be added to your sidebar, footer, or even between your blog posts.
You can also add the Fiverr gigs widget and the search bar to your website. Actually, the Gigs widget can be more targeted if inserted in between your blog posts that are related to the services you’ll be promoting.
13. Promote the Fiverr affiliate program itself.
This one could be a great option as promoting the Fiverr services directly can be difficult so you can substitute it by promoting the Fiverr affiliate program itself.
As you know, Fiverr has a two-tier commission structure for its affiliate and it allows you to add a sub-affiliate underneath you.
All you have to do is add sub-affiliates under you by promoting the Fiverr referral program.
To promote the Fiverr affiliate program you can create a course around it and share it with your audience on your social channels.
YouTube can be a perfect place to attract more audiences to your course who are interested in affiliate marketing.
